I did smog check and oil change at Quality Tune-up at Bascom Ave in San Jose. The crew was friendly and completed the job in time. I did not have an appointment but was able to get my car serviced as I went in early at 8:30 AM and this center opens up at 8 AM.

I had a drive train malfunction error in my car and the engine light also came up, after diagnostic at the dealership it was discovered that there was a rodent damage on the bank 2 knock sensor harness. I took my car for knock sensor harness replacement at their 92 Serra Way branch. The dealership gave me a quote of $2999, so I had them take a look. They ran a diagnostic test and found the same issue, but to repair this they had to take out the whole intake manifold and then repair/replace the harness. Mr. Harpreet and his mechanics were kind enough to take my car in and repair the harness in not time. A big thanks to them as they also helped save a big chunk of money by repairing the existing harness rather than buying a new one which was very expensive option. I think, they really know what they are doing. So far no issues faced after repair, car is running fine, engine light is no more on, and no more drive train malfunction error. So far so good, hope it stays that way:)
