wish I could give zero stars but not possible.....I came in with concerns about my transmission...went over details with the person there and they pretty much would not help me. First time ever ANY MECHANIC WOULD REFUSE SERVICE (= MONEY). His point was if my light was not on, it is hard to determine...????!!!!!....Isn't their job to find these things out??? I offered a test drive, he refused...stood there and just shook his head....worse service ever. I will go to the other location I always go to, although too far from my work - on Winchester across Santana Row.
Dasha, Thank you for sharing this experience. We can only get better if we know what we did wrong. Unfortunately, with transmissions there are only a few things that we are able to do to try to help fix the problem. We can change the fluid and filter, if equipped. We can change sensors if the check engine light is illuminated. Any other problems would require the transmission to be torn down and that is not our specialty. Although our technician could have communicated this to you in a better manner, we would not advise you to spend money with us if we are pretty certain we could not fix the problem.
