I started coming here for my maintenance after my last mechanic retired, mostly due to locational convenience, and here is my impression: overcharging, inconsistent timeframes, empty promises, lack of familiarity with customers, and if you’re a woman prepare yourself for being spoken down to and treated like you’re stupid. The manager has a tendency to respond with “no problem, it’ll be this much, we can get it done in half an hour,” when in reality it actually is a problem (seemingly never has basic parts for the most common car models), it’s going to be way more than quoted, and it’s going to take much much longer (don’t try to come down on a lunch break, you will be late). Sitting in the waiting room you see a lot of other customers being shocked by prices and frustrated by empty promises, and watching other female customers I saw the same talking down to them that happened with me. For example, let’s take my headlight. Over half a year ago I came in for an oil change and asked mentioned that it was going out and wanted it checked. He ended up not checking it at all and it went out completely shortly after. Last month I brought it back for servicing (which cost hundreds more than my last guy) and asked for the headlight to be repaired and he said no worries. I return and he tells me that he looked and he doesn’t have the lightbulb needed and that he needs to order it. Last week I called to ensure that the parts needed were available and that I could get my repair done Monday, they assured me it would be done. Yet on Monday, after having my car for HOURS, they tell me they don’t have the connector necessary and that it can’t be done at all. This is letting me know that over actual months of looking at my car, they have failed to actually look and diagnose the issue itself (as requested) the first two times I asked and wasted my time. These guys are fine for situations where you need an oil change or simple service in a pinch and they’re close by, but I would not recommend them for consistent, trustworthy, especially for women.
