Polite but shady. Not sure if they even post prices in their office, but my bad before entering the office on asking a worker outside if they could fit me in for an oil change, gave my keys and they did it in a timely manner. I specifically asked for standard not synthetic oil for my 2007 Accord and figured like the amazing Quality Tune Up at Blossom Hill and Snell it’d be around $50. When I went in to pay the man said they used synthetic and the total I paid was $100. That’s poor, shady practice for the financial side. Make certain you first speak with the money person and get them to draft up a work order with $ and product choice noted before you make the choice to use them.
Thank you for your review, Matt. We’re sorry for the confusion and appreciate the chance to clarify. Most vehicles produced in the last 15 years are recommended to use synthetic or synthetic blend oil per manufacturer recommendations. Honda has been using a synthetic blend 5w20 oil factory fill and oil recommendation since the early 2000's. While we don’t offer conventional (standard) oil, we do offer high mileage oil for older vehicles not previously using synthetic — and always aim to match the right product for your engine’s condition. We also offer the option for customers to bring their own oil, and we’ll perform the service using that product for a labor-only charge. We understand the importance of clear communication and will continue working to ensure customers are fully informed before work begins. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to serve you. Thanks, The Quality Tune Up Car Care Team
