Quality Auto Tune Up gave my car a seemingly satisfactory oil change that coincided (?) with a new issue. They provided an ineffective fix before reporting they actually could not fix the new problem. I ended up having to repair it on my own in what ended up only taking 15 minutes and a couple screws. More details: The day after an oil change, the splash shield detached from my car’s underside, dragging on the highway until I wedged it back as a makeshift fix. I returned to the garage that afternoon. They prioritized my car (which I appreciated) but said there was an issue with old clips which they did their best to fix. That same evening the splash shield fell down again on the highway while my wife was driving to the airport. Returning to the shop the next day, they told me the issue was totally coincidental (had nothing to do with the oil change) and they could not fix it without ordering a brand new splash shield, but that they would remove it entirely if I waited a few hours and paid a $50 lift fee. I decided I no longer wanted to be a customer, left, and lay down in the parking lot to check out the situation myself. I discovered the shield was plainly missing two screws. After a little internet searching, 10 minutes at an auto shop, and more laying on my back in a parking lot I had everything fixed myself. Even if the splash shield issue was coincidental, I found overall service to be ineffective, inattentive to detail, and unhelpful for repairing a car my family relies on. Other reviews are more positive and the shop is routinely crowded with long waits so maybe they are just overworked? Either way, I will be trying other garages before I come back.

I’ve been to Mark and the crew a few times now and you know why…HONESTY. I told my daughter to take her truck because it was making a rattling sound and she needed the oil changed. The rattling was just a loose piece of metal they fixed at no charge. No made reasons to get more money. The first time I went to Mark was for my Armada that was blowing hot air on the passenger side. We couldn’t find the part we needed anywhere but they were able to get it working AT NO CHARGE. Mark told me I still needed the part but it lasted a whole year. If you need a mechanic you can trust, look no further Quality on Winchester is the place.
