I just had smog test done this place and I was assisted by Victor. Please don't call him Vick. He addressed my presence very well and took care of my issues at timely manner. He also adjusted the tire pressure and installed wipers with no cost. I am not suggesting to bring your vehicle here for maintenance because I got free wiper service from him, but I like the way he dealt with me. It sounds absolutely professional. Thank you for service Victor. Thanks, Arpit

My smog check requires a number from the catalytic converter but I have installed a skid plate to prevent it from being stolen. First time I did the smog there 2 years ago I paid for the plate bright removed just to see the number. This time I came there hoping they don't need to do that since the number already in the system. Mechanic said that it's still needs to be done because the number on 3'rd parties sites change and they need to redo the procedure for extra $$. Well the number on my part did not change. So I went to the service closer to my home where they just wrote the number on the report so it's not need to be redone again. Quite disappointed but.. oh well. Nothing personal, just business.
Aleksandr, We apologize for any inconvenience that physically checking your catalytic converter California Air Resource Board (C.A.R.B) numbers might cause. Unfortunately, this is the law that the California Bureau of Automotive ( CA B.A.R) has enacted for smog check stations. While we understand and appreciate the need to protect your catalytic converter from theft, we also have to have access to verify the numbers. Like we explained, the CA B.A.R. and (C. A. R. B) changes their rules and allowed aftermarket parts regularly. Also a lot can happen over 2 years since your last smog check. We are a STAR Certified Test and Repair Smog Station because we follow the law and all rules set forth by the CA B.A.R. If there is some other smog check station that is taking shortcuts and not checking, they will eventually be fined and possibly lose their license if they continue to do so. We always follow the old adage, Integrity is doing the right things even when no one is watching. We wish you the best of luck with your car care needs, we're here if you need us.
