Very helpful and polite. Made engine repair and additional door repair . Had vehicle towed in and they responded to make repairs same day. We use this shop for all our vehicle maintenance and needed repairs.

I went in to ask about my check engine light. They said they would check it for free, and I got a tune up.The tune up was done in a reasonable amount of time and car runs good afterward, at a cost of ~ $470.00. However, check engine light is still on, they told me that three "codes" came up when the light was checked. The surprise was the $150 additional cost, per code ($ 450) to diagnose each code, and additionally the COST to be quoted to actually fix what was wrong. I remember when the mechanic used to take the car into his garage, figure out what was wrong, then tell you how much it would cost to fix. Now it cost almost a thousand dollars, before they get around to the actual "fixing it." You're right, I realize, I'm not savvy in the new hi-tech automotive world.
Greg, Thanks for sharing your experience. While we can understand your position on diagnosing engine codes, unfortunately finding the exact cause takes time and time isn't free anymore. Too many people took advantage of free diagnostics and didn't get the repair completed. Unfortunately high rents, increased technician wages, the cost of diagnostic computers and tools have driven the ability to provide free work out the window. We're here if you need us.
