I was super impressed with the service I received this last sunday. I was on a business trip to Carmel and a bunch of lights came on my dash and my car would lose power or stutter when in the lower RPMS. I called every place on earth to try and get some service in Carmel since I was nervous about driving back to San Jose with the issues I was experience. Alot of places are closed on sunday, especially in Carmel, so I called Quality Tune Up since they are close to my home. The guy I spoke with on the phone new exactly what was going on with my car based on the symptoms I described and assured me that although it wouldn't be the smoothest ride home, my car would be ok to get it to their shop from Carmel. When I got there they were extremely busy with a line out the door, I thought for sure they wouldn't have my car ready by 5 since I hadn't gotten there until almost 12:30. Not only did they finish (EARLY might I add) they didn't charge me for the diagnostic test since they were able to figure out what was wrong before they had to run it. They saved me well over $100 and allowed me to use a coupon I had for a oil change and tire rotation. I have NEVER gotten out of a car servicing for what I paid them, and I definitely have never been treated with such courtesy and consideration. I am a die hard QTU customer for life and will continue to come here for anything we need. THANKS GUYS!!!!

If i can give them a negative score i would. Stay away from these guys, they are the worst people you can to work on your car. please be warned they are only looking out for themselves.

I needed to get my oil changed and was sick of going to places that seemed to overcharge, not know what they are doing, or were trying to trick me into getting things done on my car that really weren't needed. I went on Yelp and looked to see what was near my house and had good reviews. Quality Tune-Up showed up at the top of the list. So, I went there one Saturday during the day. They were able to work on my car right away. While changing the oil they also noticed that I needed new filters for my air conditioner/heater and engine. The guy working on my car said that they could change the filters and only charge me for the filters themselves, which I thought was great. The guys who work here are all really nice. They didn't seem to try to pull a fast one just because I am a woman, and just seemed genuinely honest. I'll definitely be back when I need maintenance done on my car.

I had a wonderful experience with this Quality Tune-up shop located across the street from Santana Row. I took my fiancé's car to this shop to fix an engine issue. Team was really helpful, and knowledgeable. Fixed problem in timely manner and charged really reasonably. They even worked around my schedule... they close at 6 and due to traffic it took me little longer than expected. I called them to inform that, and they waited 10 min pass 6 till I got there. Mike was all cool about it, showed and explained me all the things they fixed with my car thoroughly and patiently before signing off my car to me. I was really impressed by their commitment and dedication to their customer. I would definitely go there if there is any issue with my car.

I've been getting vehicles serviced here regularly for more than a year. Some jobs are minor routine maintenance (oil, smog), others are more involved (brakes, engine). The work is done efficiently, right the first time, and everything is explained in plain terms up front. The prices are fair (downright excellent on the big jobs). The big thing, though, is that I TRUST these guys. Integrity in everything -- you see it in the way they care for EVERY customer, EVERY supplier, and each other. My wife went to there for smog test and oil change today. For smog test, they charged her $48 after $10 off coupon, which is much higher than the competiter's price. For oil change, we bring the coupon for regular oil change. The refused to change the regular oil for our CAMRY and they insist to change the synthetic oil which will cost $70. I definitely refused to change the oil there. They are cheaters and I will never go bakc!!!

I came here needing an oil change and smog. I choose this location due to yelp reviews and a coupon that came to my house. I called in the morning to make an appointment and they said no appointment needed, just to come in. I even clarified that I wouldn't be able to make it until 4:30pm due to work and they close at 6pm. Rich said it would be no problem. The location is literally at a 76 station so it can be a little hard to miss. It is located across the way from Santana Row so killing time is easy. Rich took down my information, gave me a quote and told me that my car would be ready in about an hour. I left and got a call promptly one hour later. Rich asked if I would like to add some power steering fluid and when I said I would be able to take care of it, there was no trying to sell me on it or annoyance in his voice, just "okay sounds good!". I really appreciate service like this because my experience at other places have been super unpleasant and very pushy. Prices were fair, I paid and was on my way. Rich has superior customer service and I will gladly return.

Loved this place! Ask for Sergio- such a nice man. Got my Toyota Tundra right in (no advanced warning) and smog-checked my truck in 20 minutes. He noticed that I had printed out his business overview from Yelp and gave me a nice discount! Honest and know what they are doing. I will be bringing in my Civic and Tundra in again for an oil change and service. Nice to have honest guys so close to home! Thank you!

I went in for a Tuneup and Mark said I needed other things done, and he was a referral from a friend, I will never go back here again,I was Overcharged for what I received and was not told prior to service being done, I have reported this
