Really like that shop, always helpful and knowledgeable. Needed a smog cert. Had to clear the check engine light from previous repair I made. And got it to turn off. But as I found out. It needed more and Mike told me to drive around so it would have something to check. AJ suggested a trip to Gilroy or 2. I went south turn right at Gilroy, right at Watsonville, right at Santa Cruz, right at Los Gatos back to Quality Tune Up. Passed smog! I was also concerned about my timing chain. Mike told me it has chain and not to worry. You can ask them almost anything about cars and they'll set you straight. So my 2007 Dodge Caliber will keep running ok if I take it to Quality Tune Up, I have been going there for about 20 years now. Happy motoring to you. Glenn Stidger

This is our annual stop for our smog for our 2 vehicles and sometimes routine oil changes. The workers are friendly and helpful.

Good experience getting a smog check, took a little over an hour and they honored the coupon from their website, I’ll look them up next time I need any repair work

I got there when they opened, at 8:00. They told me 1-1.5 hours for an oil change and inspection. They didn't finish until 10:30 (2.5 hours) and didn't find any problems. But I knew there were problems: the air filters hadn't been replaced for 3 years, the TPMS was shot, and when I checked the tire pressure myself, it was about 80% of target. I don't mind it taking long, since they were understaffed that day, but that doesn't excuse giving such a bad estimate and cutting corners on the inspection. Hopefully they didn't miss anything important, like brake pads or tire treads.
