Silicon Valley Auto Repair

Went in to Quality a week or so ago for a smog check. It's always nice to see an auto place full of customers, because that usually means that they do good business, but could also mean that you're going to be waiting for a while. Not the case. Had my family with me, including two very impatient toddlers and after a short lunch at a nearby subway, came back to check on the status and they were done. No longer than an hour, which I thought was terrific considering that there were people ahead of me. I will trust them in the future for car needs; and just a side note. About a year ago, my old battery died in the same parking lot; on a cold, rainy night just after sundown, again with my whole family in the car. I ran over to Quality, and explained my situation, and before I could even finish explaining. The guy I was talking to (don't remember his name) assured me that he had me covered. He brought a portable jump kit over to my car and charged me up in a jiffy, literally out of the kindness of his heart. I will forever be indebted to this place, you just don't find that kind of service anywhere anymore. Thank you Quality Tune-up #8.

Super awesome! I come to this place for smog checks, oil changes and always get quick and courteous service. I've gotten my brakes changed with them also and they did a really great job. My car is old but they always do what I ask and never lie or try to tell me my car needs something it doesn't. I'm getting a new car soon and I'll keep coming back to them for repairs and oil changes.

Mike and his crew has been maintaining my 2000 Dodge Durango for close to 9 years. The customer service is excellent and I have 100% faith in the quality of work done on my car. When my car is here I know it's safe and being taken care of. Mike's place is where all should take their cars in. Go visit and find out. Happy customer here!

Took my vehicle in for a smog check. The staff was very friendly, the cost was reasonable, and I was in/out in 1/2 hour.

We've been bringing our cars here for Smog Checks and Oil Changes, for many years. We've even had them do small repairs that have come up. Every time we've checked for pricing quotes with other mechanics, they've had very similar pricing. The waiting area is small, so your best bet is to drop-off and return later.

I only went in for a smog check so this is just based on that experience. I am not sure about the other services but the going in for the smog check was the most hassle free experience ever. I went in, told them what I wanted, dropped the car off, paid for it and that was it. They told me it would take an hour but it only took half an hour. And I really like that they donate $1 to charity for every smog check that they did, so that was a plus too.
