I have been going to Quality Tune up for quite some time now. Finding a HONEST and QUALIFIED mechanic these days, well good luck!! But after my first experience with Mark sometime back , I knew I got lucky!! For instance. I have a 2001 Chevy Silverado. I drove it for 19 years, with no issues. Doing regular oil changes at your typical in and out oil changer. But then my ABS sensor went out. Not knowing who to go to, my roommate suggested Mark at Quality Tune up. Best move I’ve ever made. This is what sold me. I asked him to go through my truck and give me an evaluation of what needs to be done. I had asked him to replace all sensors concerning the engine. While I was home waiting for my truck to be done, he called me. He explained that he had put my truck up on the lift to inspect the under carriage. He told me that my shocks were bad, would I like him to replace them. Yes I said! But then he surprised me. He told me that my brakes were okay. And the he had rotated my tires. Unbelievable!! I thought in my head. He could have told me I needed a brake job. Now he is the only one I take my truck to. I just hand him my keys, and say “ If this was your truck, what would you attend to? “ He actually cares that when your vehicle is back, it’s up to his standards!! And his standards are high. So, take from me, don’t take chances with your vehicle. You will never be left in the dark with Mark, at Quality Tune up. This is not just my opinion, I’m driving the proof of there work. I had a disappointing experience with this auto shop. I noticed on their website that they offer discounts, so I went there, as it’s close to my home, to have my car’s air induction system fixed. An agent named Mark assisted me. He mentioned they would start working on it after 20 minutes and would call me when it was done. However, I waited for an hour without receiving any call. When I finally called them, Mark said the car was ready and would be available in 10 minutes. When I arrived, I was shocked to see a bill for $455. This seemed excessively high, so I asked to review the charges. After calculating everything, it should have been $365. When I pointed this out, Mark admitted I was charged twice for a service, but he didn’t even apologize. Moreover, I mentioned that their website advertised discounts. He rudely told me that I should have mentioned it at the beginning which didn’t make sense Overall, be cautious when dealing with this place. Double-check the charges,and finalize the price before they start any work. Again ! Double check!!!!

Dishonest service station. The didn’t provide estimates onsite but called me afterwards. Upsell anything/everything without me having the luxury of time to think through the estimate items. I asked them to check electrical fuse for seat, which turned out to be the actual problem. I was given the option to either pay $100 injectors cleaning (which I declined initially) or hefty labor for fuse replacement. I feel cheated and a bad experience overall. They want your money right away and not a repeat customer by building trust.
