I've been coming here for about 4 years and 2 cars now and always get great service at low prices. Go here and see Rich he's great. These guys don't try to push services that you don't need. They will work to fit you in thier busy schedule. I highly recommend this place!

TOP KNOTCH SERVICE! Rich and his workers are completely understanding of the customer and always give the best price. They are down to earth and super friendly, I don't know why I waited this long to finally come here. If I could, i would give them 6 stars. They changed my intake and gave me a smog all within the hour. Super fast service and there was no doubt in my mind anything bad would happen. I came in without an appointment, and they accomodated my every need!!

Mark and his team are helpful and honest. When my Honda Civic blew a gasket a couple weeks ago I was hesitant where to take my car in for the repair. I received mixed opinions on what to do. My soon to be father in law Reverend Barry Click recommended Quality. With such an expensive repair I was nervous about the entire process. Mark and his team have been very knowledgeable so far. They know cars. He's applying the diagnostic cost towards the entire repair cost and the price is reasonable. He's also providing a 1 year warranty on parts and labor. I feel confident they will perform quality work and I'm looking forward to bringing my car in for future work.

Two years later...They're better than ever. I brought my car in, without an appointment, because it was leaking water like crazy. It turned out I needed the water pump replaced. They did it that day, even though it would take a long time, due to the fact I couldn't be without my car. The shop closes at 6pm but they kept working even after closing time so I could have my car fixed that day. Rich, who worked on my car, is one of the hardest working mechanics around. Being an excellent mechanic is important, which he is, but friendliness goes a long way with me as well. They are courteous and patient with everyone. I didn't have a coupon this time but what they charged me was so reasonable, it felt like I did have one. Many shops are in industrial areas where there's nothing around for miles. This shop is directly across the street from Santana Row, so hanging out at Santana Row or walking over to Valley Fair makes waiting for your car to be fixed a pleasure. Everyone should check this place out. You will be very happy if you did.

When I went in for my smog check this year, my car barely passed so I went in search for a reputable as well as a decently priced place to get a very much needed tune-up. After reading the various yelp reviews, I decided to use this Quality Tune-up Shop to get my car back into good running condition I printed out one of their coupons and proceeded over to the shop. They had a very positive and friendly way of greeting their customers. I told them I found them on Yelp and they were very happy about that. Though the cost was more than the coupon stated, I believe they charged accordingly as far as the actual job that was required to be done on my '95 Ford Aerostar. The whole job took them about 3 1/2 hrs. I decided to get lunch at Boudin Sourdough Bakery and Cafe, located at Valley Fair's food court. I had the Chicken Pesto Sandwich with a tossed green salad. It was absolutely delicious!!! But that's another review all together. When they called to say my car was ready I walked over there from Santana Row, where I had been window shopping. I paid the bill and drove my car home and was very pleased with its performance. I highly recommend Quality Tune-up Shop on Winchester for all your auto maintenance.

In previous times coming here, I was given misleading information about my car, and the problems it was having. For example: I was told I needed a new timing belt- well my car doesn't have a timing belt. I have a chain on my car and a serpentine belt. Anyway- tommy is the new manager at this location. He's from the Fremont location. He's honest, friendly and accurate about the wait time for your vehicle. I love coming here for basic oil changes. They are cheap and quick. Can't beat the price. Now that they have a new in shop manager I may trust bringing my car here for other issues and not the dealership.

I've been going to QT-U for years now - overall its been a good experience. But I suggest they train their Friendlies to ESTIMATE THE WAIT TIMES BETTER. One Service Friendly told me my car would be finished in an hour, when he knew it would take much longer (over 2 hours) due to the number of cars ahead of me and number of Service Friendlies available. With an honest estimate I could have planned my morning in ways other than zombie-ing out in their nice waiting area. Also with bigger repair jobs, get a second estimate.

Some places will fail you and do the test twice. No way that here -- an excellent auto repair place. Got my automobile smogged in a few minutes and was into my day with no problem after that. It does help with this place to have an appointment or to get there early in the day. Remember McKee Road as well is a busy street and traffic there is occasionally a hassle. Really good smog your car location. Great!

I have been coming to this place for the last two years just because of the owner Sukhi. He used to have a place off of McKee but moved to this location. I trust this guy hands down with my cars. When I first met him I drove a 2007 Subaru Sti and he did all the upkeep and maintenance on that car. Then he moved to this location and by that time I ended up with a 2003 Svt Cobra and this guy was a major help to me. I am very partial to allowing mechanics to work on my cars because I have been wronged before. For example, my cars cruise control stopped working and I called him and setup an appointment so he could take a look at my car. Luckily he was free the next morning so I go in and he takes about 30 minutes checking the fuses and wiring and he realizes that the cruise control level had slipped off the brake which wasn't allowing my car to activate cruise control. This guy didn't even charge me for it since he didn't have to replace anything or change any parts. I mean oh can't beat that. Then my dad's car needed brakes and the MB dealer wanted 600 for just the front two. I came here and he only charged me half of that. The brakes have been fine now for over two months with no problems. Sukhi is a great guy I don't know why there are so many negative reviews. I even had the guy check out a used car I was looking at a used car and he inspected it and told me everything that was wrong. It only needed a plugs and a air filter. He has honestly never done my wrong so I will continue to bring my services to him.
