I did install brake pads and they did a good job, however, they lowball me for the cost over the phone to get me over there. I asked them how much would it cost for both front and rear axel. They told me $140 (that is the price for 1 hour label). Since I had estimate of 180 (1 hour label) form wheelworks, I asked my question multiple time and confirmed the price. However, when I got there they asked for $240. Eventually they matched 180 and proceeded with work as I didn't want to waste my time to go to new place. Their argument was that wheelwork's estimate is also over the phone and once you are there they will ask for more! It looks like lowballing is their habit. So you are welcome to go there, just make sure to record the conversation over the phon.
Hossein, We give a ballpark figure over the phone for most vehicles. Some vehicles require a higher-grade brake pad and or rotor than others. Our labor rate is clearly stated on our menu board and we use the California approved Motor labor guide for exact hours required for each vehicle. We do not have time to give exact estimates every time we receive a phone call. We wouldn't have time to actually do repair work if we did that. We wish you the best of luck with your car care needs. I phoned to inquire about availability. The individual who answered the phone was not only informative, his tone and choice of words were extremely accommodating, patient, and helpful. Upon arrival, I walked in, was told the business is ran without appointment making and is on a first come, first serve basis. There was NO sugar coating, yet, being told about the wait time (estimated time when my car would be finished), the fees, and any other inquiries I had were provided without a hint of impatience or aggravation. I definitely would return to this facility due to the excellent customer service and mechanical expertise.

So another enjoyable experience at quality tuneup on blossom hill in San Jose California.Mike was very helpful actually all the guys there that I’ve interacted with have been pretty friendly which makes the experience that much better quality tuneup seems to be very honest and knowledgeable mechanics and people in general, after the first time taking my Honda in for an oil change, I have a decided that depending on which service was needed if I can choose quality tuneup, I will. Looking for someone or somewhere equivalent to Quality Tuneup to have my Vw Gti looked at it’s showing and error code of PO100 something pertaining to the MAF sensor I’ve already tried cleaning it but it’s made no difference any suggestions Best regards, Phillip O

They were amazing! They fit me in on the same day last minute and gave me a better price than everyone else. They also did a 20 point inspection which I loved because most places only do an 18 point inspection or less. They checked absolutely everything on my car to make sure it was running smoothly; it made me feel very relieved and secure because I use my car for Lyft. I also liked that they were right across from Santana Row so that I could hang out there while I waited. 5 stars for this place!
