I paid for a tire rotation which the mechanic who serviced never end up performing the task. I noticed this because I went to my friends shop to check on the brakes and they verified my suspicion as the rear lug nuts were so worn that nothing could move them. Quality auto instead of telling me the issue, they pretended the tires were rotated and went ahead to charge me for the full service. I called the business and the owner said they would review the video recordings to confirm but never end up confirming anything. The principle of this issue is fundamentally wrong and I wanted to share with everyone my experience. Update 6.2.2022 after response from the owner: Interesting you mentioned how you tightened up and flushed the air out of the brake lines free of charge when it wasn't on the invoice and you didn't have the video to see it. You must have an impeccable memory. Also, the initial contact was one week after the service and this response is 3 weeks after so clearly you either ignored my concern or took time to come up with a reasonable rationale for the mishap. The most important part is please don't deceive customers because you never offered the next round of tire rotations and I will leave it as that.
Richard, Let’s talk about your entire experience. The reason you went to your friends shop was to check on the brakes because we showed you the leaking brake line in your front brake. We tightened it up and even flushed the air out of the line free of charge. We had to remove the tire to do that and you admitted in your phone call that you saw the technician working on the rear lug nuts. Unfortunately our cameras did not have 4 weeks of storage when you contacted us about this issue after a month, so we were not able to confirm with video evidence. Great service! The estimate was fair and the time frame was very good. Marc the Mgr. kept us up to date regarding additional issues. He was honest with us about repairs and didn't try to upscale us for unnecessary services. The car was done on time, and Marc even followed up the next day to make sure we were satisfied. We will go back for any future needs.
