I received a quote for the repair from a different establishment that I felt was too high. I called and spoke to Steve at this location and he gave me a more reasonable quote, so I made an appointment for the next day. I took in at about 9:00 am and he said that it would take about an hour. Sure enough I drove out of there about 10:00 am. I thanked him for giving me a fair price for the repair. I saved a substantial amount of money by going to this location. I would highly recommend this location to my neighbors and friends!!

Had my vehicle smogchecked? It failed a few checks. They suggested I drive on the highway for an hour or do to reset the sensors (I recently changed the battery) I returned and it still failed the catalytic converter check. Once again they said it was a simple fix. Just drive on the highway for an hour or so. I did, again, and it passed. They were very professional and explained why some of the sensors "failed" after replacing a battery. I have to remember that fir next time.
Thaddeus, Yes, replacing the battery or even turning a check engine light off causes all of your vehicle's computer sensors to "reset". It basically blanks the system, kind of like re-installing an operating system on a computer. The vehicle's computer then needs to check every sensor to make sure it is working properly before your vehicle is"ready to test". We're here for all your car care needs next time you need us.
