I have been taking all of our cars there for the last 10 years. There is no where else I would take my cars to be worked on. Sukhi is the best! From simple things like an oil change to engine work he does it all. Most important he does it for a fair price. I never feel like I'm being taken. I have referred many friends who have been very happy. Even when purchasing a used car for my daughter Sukhi checked the car out for no charge. Just a great guy all around. If you live in the Cambrian Park area you should be taking your car to Quality Tune-Up.

Quick and affordable oil change for my Prius.

My family and I have been coming here for years. Most recently I came in for a smog test, and it was super quick. They like to get the small projects (oil change and smog) out of the way fast so you can be in and out. They are real and won't try to sell you something you don't need. These guys are great, I won't go anywhere else.

I just saw there was a recent review, that wasn't favorable, about the Quality Tune Up on Bascom Avenue and I felt compelled to share some additional thoughts to my review back in 2013. The owner of this business (Sukhi), is absolutely a gem. I've been coming to him for many years, so to hear someone had an unfavorable experience is beyond me. The only thing I can say, is that sometimes there are things that happen during a business day, which can take a business off their timeline, from time to time. What's important is how a company handles the issue, when it arises, that makes a company go from good to great, in my opinion. Sukhi ALWAYS goes the extra mile, if something arises. If you are looking for an HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY, FAIR PRICED, HARD WORKING shop, Sukhi is your man. Go to him directly. I just can't tell you how great he is. Sukhi is not only my car maintenance repair person, Sukhi has become my friend and someone I can always count on. It's because of his honesty and willingness to go the extra mile (every time I come in) that makes me happy to refer him to you. He's a hand shake type of guy you can count on, which I love. I absolutely trust him. P.S. Sukhi, thank you for yesterday. You always make me feel special, everyone time I come in. You're the BEST and I appreciate all that you do for me!

I absolutely love these guys. I forget the fellas name, (tall, thin, man) but I just think he's wonderful. I've been coming to him for years. They've always done a great job and when I drop in, (which is usually what I do) they quickly handle my needs, even if its a busy holiday weekend. I really appreciate his service and it's definitely NOT because I'm hot! (I'm pretty sure) ; )` Thank you for always taking care of me. I appreciate your honesty and wiliness to go the extra mile. :) That's what makes me come back. As a side note... I've never really checked priced but I feel what they charge is fair. What's most important is his honesty and service. It really makes a difference. I'm just a shamed I don't know his name. (Going to fix that :) ) Wait!!! He just called me!!! I have my car down for a quick oil change and forget to mention something. So I called and there was no answer, because he was on the phone with another client. Once he finished his call, he called me right back!!! LOVE THAT!!! So the answer to the my question... the tall, thin, fellas name is SUKHI !!!!!! Thank you SUKHI for the outstanding service. Honest people. Have been going here for oil changes and other things for 2 years. Always good work and nice people. No waiting around they fix your car as fast as they can.

I have been bringing my car here since 2011 and have received quality service every time. My car is always ready on time (more often earlier than quoted) and I have always received clear explanations of everything that was done. Bonus: as a woman, it is always refreshing to have the shop owner speak to me as an adult who understands what is going on rather than treating me like a "little lady" who needs to be explained at. The guys have never tried to sell me a service or repair I didn't need. In fact, there have been a couple of occasions where I have dropped my car off thinking I needed a major repair (like all new brakes and rotors) and have been shown that a costly service is not needed and it was a matter of a simple service or small part replacement that cost me much less than I was thinking. They are always up front and honest in their dealings with me. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Big thank you to the gentlemen for replacing my headlight bulbs today! I bought bulbs thinking I could do the replacement myself only to find that I couldn't figure out how to access the headlight inputs on my car. The guys handled it for me in a couple of minutes while I was on my lunch break. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I'm surprised at all the negative reviews. I took my car in for an oil change and brake check; I wanted to avoid the weekend crowd so I called on a Wednesday morning. No answer until 9am when they said they could take my car and it would take only 20 minutes. When I got there, they assisted me quickly but said it might take a little longer based on my car (couldn't they have asked the type of car over the phone?) Anyway. I said I'd seen a coupon online and they honored the price - brake check, oil change, and new filter for $30. My boyfriend and I took the dogs to a nearby dog park and within 30 minutes or so they called saying my car was done. I went in, paid, and left in just a few minutes. Not the best service ever - they don't talk much and really just want you in and out, but they get the job done quickly and at a decent price.

Did my SMOG check - immediate response, gave me a sizeable discount and was done in minutes. Automatically sent the results to DMV so I could complete the registration online the next day. Great service!

I can vouch for these guys: they get it right 99% of the time, and when they don't, they make it right. Auto repair gets more complicated all the time, and I never thought I would trust any garage outside of expensive dealership service departments. I've had minor to more major work done at this Quality Tune Up on all 4 of my cars including Infinity, Lexus, and Toyota brands over the past 6 years, and the results are excellent at a reasonable price. Recommendation: If you read mixed reviews on this business from 2014, consider this more current review. To build confidence, maybe start with oil changes and smog checks, get comfortable with the team, and get quotes on more major repairs - they'll likely beat the price and get the job done!
