I neglected to mention the most incredible part!! The next day, after our arrival in LA, we received a FOLLOW-UP CALL from Mike who wanted to make sure we got there okay. How considerate and kind is THAT?? Honestly, if I lived anywhere NEAR San Jose this would be my go-to auto mechanic. I remain eternally grateful to them. Thanks again. Can I give them ten stars?? I would if I could... There are few things more daunting for me than taking my car to an auto mechanic, especially in an emergency situation. I recently found myself in that exact spot as I started a drive from San Francisco to Los Angeles. We got as far as San Jose and it became obvious that there was something wrong with the car. I was filled with dread. Horrible visions of renting a car, towing the car and DUMPING the car ran through my head. THANKFULLY we landed at QualityTune Up & Car Care Center, under the wing of MIKE. He ran a diagnostic check and determined that the problem was a sensor and a bad spark plug. This happened at mid-day and we clearly were not first in line so we had to wait. We went for a walk, had lunch, read a couple of People magazines and then were on the road again in a very reasonable length of time. Mike was friendly, honest, approachable and honest. He gave us options and a clear picture of what it would cost. I observed a steady stream of new and repeat customers coming and going and everyone seemed satisfied and pleased. I am SO thankful to Mike and his crew for helping us. It would have been very easy to take advantage of us but that did not happen. I recommend this repair shop whole heartedly and without any hesitation. Thanks again, Mike!
