Been here many times. Mark has always been exceeding my expectations. He keeps me informed about what's going on and goes out of his way to get reasonable prices of needed parts. On top of all that, he's also a very interesting man to get to know. Honesty, quality and efficiency. That's what I always look for in any business. Mark and his crew has these qualities. Enough said.

Still 5 stars. I sent my oldest (now that she has a license) to get my oil changed. (I called ahead to let them know she was coming just in case she felt a little lost). I texted her the copy of my email coupon (sign up for discounts!). She mentioned a noise on one of the tires, she called me and asked if they had permission to drive it around to see what was up. She wasn't over charged or mistreated because I wasn't there It says a lot about their professionalism and the trust I had to send my daughter there by herself and she felt it was a good experience

I have a 2011 Honda Insight Hybrid that is less than a year old to me and I have had my oil changed there 3x (I drive A LOT, daily commute, kids that play sports, 2 vacations to San Diego), tire roatation, cabin air filter replaced and engine filter replaced. I don't feel pressured to get a bunch of unnecessary things done and am confident in Mark's suggestions. Also, he is genuinely nice, he remembers things about his customers and engages in appropriate small talk (in others words, not creepy and not so lengthy it interferes with your wait time) The first time I went for an oil change, I had a coupon for $24.95 but that was for regular oil and my car uses synthetic so it was closer to $70. I read a yelp comment that someone's husband said they always use regular oil and Mark somehow finagled her into getting synthetic oil, well at first I thought this guy is trying to take advantage of me, but I confirmed with 2 of my friends that are mechanics and they both confirmed that my car needs synthetic and that it was a fair price. At my last visit 1/25/15 - My indicator said I had 10% oil life (it comes on at 15 so I was pushing it), needed a tire rotation, and cabing air filter replacement. I had a coupon for the oil change (showing him my coupon on my phone was honored - but it was $10 more because of a certain oil). While getting that done, another guy came and showed Mark my nasty black engine filter, so he recommended I get it changed and I did because I had noticed my car wasn't picking up as quickly as usual so it made sense. Tire rotation wasn't needed because I had it done last time, but tire pressure was checked (like Mike says - always do). So this visit cost me $150, which was about $50 more than I had budgeted, but I went in getting 38-39 MPGs and left getting 40-42 MPGs.

P:S- I don't write a lot of reviews and for some reason Yelp does not display the ones I do, even when they are fully positive.. Lets see if this one is displayed :-) My husband took our van to the shop for oil change last week and he, as course of conversation, asked if they could take a look at a problem with our van's automatic doors. The passenger doors were not opening when the engine was on. They offered to check but mentioned that they may not be able to fix anything big. Apparently when they ran some analysis and reset something, the problem went away. The Honda dealer was asking for an exorbitant price even to take a look at the problem but Quality Tune-up did not even charge us since we were regulars there and it was a minor fix. Talk about customer service- They rock..I would highly recommend them.

Victor is SUCH a great guy. Everyone here works hard and gets the customer out asap! I'm never ever going elsewhere. They took care of my brakes that were literally falling off.

Awesome customer service, very friendly. I recently moved to the East Bay and did not know of any places to take my car to get an oil change. I went on Yelp and this was one of the first places that showed up close to my house with great reviews so I decided to bring my car here. No doubt the second I walked in friendly greetings and Victor answered all questions and explained everything in details. Highly recommend bringing your car here!

This is a review for my girlfriends fiat 500 that she always puts off on getting done and I have to constantly nag her to get her oil and filter changed for about 5 months. Well, anyway the service here is really great and they even took care of her car when she called like an hour before they closed! Cool people and cool service thanks!

I went in to Quality Tune-Up in Fremont for a smog check at the last minute, and Victor and the crew took good care of me! Awesome and honest service even at the last minute, which isn't easy to find. I plan on going back with my second car to them and would recommend them to everyone!

I've been coming to quality tune up for years both the San Jose Winchester location then here at the Fremont location since I moved back here and they have always taken care of me and my car at a fair honest price! I will always come here for any car maintenance I have!
