Just a couple of Texans new to the area. It's nice to see that southern hospitality extends here! If you want genuine and personal customer services, honest advice, and people not trying to upsell you on things you don't need, come here! I'll definitely be back for future services!

We needed a new place we could take both our jaguar and dodge too that was both honest and open on the weekends. We knew both cars needed to have brakes and tires checked and Mark and team were awesome and really friendly. He made sure to address all or our concerns and explain the reason behind the problems. We will definitely be brining both vehicles back here!

Went in this morning for an oil change and was in and out in about 20 mins. Mike didn't try to upsell me on oil or any other services. Mentioned that flushing out the oil system is good for the car but when I said I didn't want to do it, there was no push from him. He was also very friendly and chatted with me about the area (which I am new to). Overall very friendly service and the pricing seemed fine.

Whenever my 2004 Audi A4 needs attention, Mark always takes phenomenal care of it in a timely manner at a competitive price. I have had numerous jobs done on this vehicle at Quality Tune Up. Brakes, fuel filter, fuel pump, timing belt, water pump, headlights, oil change, radiator etc... I've been beyond satisfied with the quality of all the work done. I took my car to a foreign auto shop when I first needed brakes and the quote they gave me was $200 above Marks quote. Mark is really good with his clientele, my family has been going to him for a while and are always satisfied. I recommend this shop over any other in the Tri-city area.

I've been coming to Quality Tune-Up Shops in Fremont for the better part of the last year and a half, since I've been spending more time in the area. My usual shop (Alvin's in Milpitas, yelp.com/biz/alvins-auto…) is a tad far when I need to do simple oil changes or minor repairs, so this location is convenient in a pinch. So far, I've only done oil changes, so I can't vouch for their major service, but I can safely say that when the day comes that I do need more substantial work done, I would not hesitate to return. No matter what time I drop by, be it on weekdays before work in the morning or smack dab in the middle of a Saturday afternoon, there is NEVER a line. Work is prompt and efficient, and you are on your merry old way within 15-20 minutes. Mark, the gentleman running the shop (I'm not sure whether he is the owner or the manager), is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about cars, and always goes out of his way to greet you once he sees your vehicle pull up. He also doesn't gouge you on pricing either. It's always been a flat $30 for an oil change on my compact sedan (not sure how much it would be for a larger car). The only oh-so-slight gripe is that he always tries to upsell synthetic and/or "high mileage" oil, but just a simple, "No," and he won't say anything more. In closing, everyone knows that auto repair shops are some of the most unscrupulous, if not downright corrupt businesses out there, and it is good to know that places like Quality Tune-Up Shops still exist. It's still a shock to me how most other shop owners just don't understand the notion that honesty and service with a smile will ultimately make you far more successful than ripping people off. I'm glad this place gets the message.

+1 great customer service. All the guys were really nice and I put my complete trust in them +1 I got a synthetic oil change & smog in less than 2 hours +1 decent prices. oil change $60. Smog check $50 +1 convenient. no appointment needed and they electronically sent my smog check papers to the DMV +1 im not knowledgeable about cars and they didn't make me feel dumb or taken advantage of HIGHLY recommended!!! Thanks guys!!

You know you have a great auto shop when the owner actually turns away a customer because he can tell they have recently had an oil change. I was there with my daughter the other day, she was enjoying a cookie that Mark brought out for her, and a man came in saying his wife had handled service for their car the last few times and he wasn't sure what had been done. Mark went and checked his car and came back and told him he wouldn't need another oil change for about 2 months. Now, that's an honest man! It made me feel even more confident in the trust that I have for the service I have done there and the recommendations made by Mark and his team!

I have a background working in the car industry, and even though Mark and his guys didn't know that when I first walked in, they have always recommended the best service for my car and have never tried to sell me something I don't need. All of the employees (and even the other customers) are incredibly friendly. I bring my toddler with me and they always talk to her and play around with her and always seem happy to see her. I would recommend Mark and his shop to anyone and everyone!

I came in with a coupon for Lube-Oil-Filter. My car was promptly attended to and the job was completed in 20 minutes. As a person who does not know a lot about cars, I always find it very intimidating to get any work done on my car and feel like I'm being told that I need to have more work done to my car even when I don't know what it is. I didn't feel this way at all at Quality Tune-Up. My experience was very pleasant. Mark has a warm personality and explained to me thoroughly what was being done on my car. He also recommended for me to go to Costco to get my car battery because it will save me money. He not only honored my coupon, but gave me an educator discount on top of that. I felt very welcomed and comfortable and will be coming back.
