I came in with a coupon for Lube-Oil-Filter. My car was promptly attended to and the job was completed in 20 minutes. As a person who does not know a lot about cars, I always find it very intimidating to get any work done on my car and feel like I'm being told that I need to have more work done to my car even when I don't know what it is. I didn't feel this way at all at Quality Tune-Up. My experience was very pleasant. Mark has a warm personality and explained to me thoroughly what was being done on my car. He also recommended for me to go to Costco to get my car battery because it will save me money. He not only honored my coupon, but gave me an educator discount on top of that. I felt very welcomed and comfortable and will be coming back.

Great job! Got the wife's LR3 (2007) smog checked in 1/2 hour. Went to buy a gift card in Niles downtown and by the time we went back with our three sick kids the Rover was done. Thanks Ryan and Mark!

I needed to get my oil changed and was sick of going to places that seemed to overcharge, not know what they are doing, or were trying to trick me into getting things done on my car that really weren't needed. I went on Yelp and looked to see what was near my house and had good reviews. Quality Tune-Up showed up at the top of the list. So, I went there one Saturday during the day. They were able to work on my car right away. While changing the oil they also noticed that I needed new filters for my air conditioner/heater and engine. The guy working on my car said that they could change the filters and only charge me for the filters themselves, which I thought was great. The guys who work here are all really nice. They didn't seem to try to pull a fast one just because I am a woman, and just seemed genuinely honest. I'll definitely be back when I need maintenance done on my car.

I've been getting vehicles serviced here regularly for more than a year. Some jobs are minor routine maintenance (oil, smog), others are more involved (brakes, engine). The work is done efficiently, right the first time, and everything is explained in plain terms up front. The prices are fair (downright excellent on the big jobs). The big thing, though, is that I TRUST these guys. Integrity in everything -- you see it in the way they care for EVERY customer, EVERY supplier, and each other. We rolled in on a Sunday without an appointment to get an oil change and they had us on our way in about a half hour even while despite being relatively busy. What really makes the place stand out though is how Mark treats his customers. He is a generous person, a descriptor I've never used in the context of a car shop before. He goes above and beyond to make sure his customers have a great experience. As a result, he won two more loyal customers as long as we're in the area.

I have been looking for a place in Fremont for a mechanic. Man am I glad I visited Quality Tune-Up Shop. Mark is such an Awesome guy. What i like about the most is that he communicates with you before he does anything to the vehicle, talks about the cost and waits for your approval. He's honest about his work. He'll let me know if i really need something done right away or if the problem is not really that severe and can wait a little bit. He's not one of those "Fix This, Fix That, or You should also upgrade to that." Mechanic. Ever since my first visit at his shop I have yet to go somewhere else to have anything done. I have been there several times and all my visit was really pleasant!! Great Job Mark and Staff !!!

I had a pleasant experience having my car's oil changed and a smog test at this shop. After taking it in, Mark also thoroughly inspected my car, found that I did not have an AC/heater air filter and that my power steering fluid needed to be changed. I should note that I work in construction where my car is subjected to a very dusty environment on a daily basis, hence the unusually dirty fluids and the need for filters. At no point was I heavily pressured to buy services that I did not need, nor were there any dishonest tactics that I've encountered before used. The work was prompt and professional. The service was amenable and friendly, and I found an honest tune up shop. I'll be taking my car back for servicing when needed to this gentleman.

5 stars for great customer service by Mark and quick oil change that was well need on my 2012 challenger glad I came here Mark was awesome guy friendly and loved my car just as much as I did :) I'm all about vibes and he definitely made me feel comfortable definitely will be coming back!

What can I say. I could not use my normal smog guy because I needed a star rated station. Opened Sunday +1 Great attitudes +1 Busy but out in 55 min +1 Close to home +1 Passed smog +1 5 yea, i can count. good guys, recommend them !

Mark and his co-workers have done it again. We have been coming to Mark at Quality Tune up for years with no problems. We started using Mark when we went to another automotive shop and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with our daughter's Volkswagen Jetta. We even tried the Volkswagen dealer and they told us numerous things were wrong and said it would cost us over $2500.00 to fix it. That is when my husband said...LETS TAKE IT TO MARK! Right away Mark figured out what was wrong and fixed it in a timely manner. We got out of there with a bill of $800.00. The Volkswagen dealer was also trying to rip us off as the problems they said that were wrong with the car was nonsense! Last week my son tried to smog his Toyota 4-Runner. He had a coupon for another shop and took it there. It didn't pass and the guy just said it was his timing. He came home and he and his dad went over the timing and it wasn't the problem. They couldn't figure it out so we took it to Mark. It took Mark two days but he figured it out...we bought the part...they put it in and we had Mark try to smog it. Wow...it PASSED!!! WAY TO GO QUALITY TUNE UP..again you come through when other's couldn't! If you ever need a great shop to take your car then this is the one. They are a little pricey BUT....Mark gets your car fixed the first time and you never have to come back for anything.
