Came for a smog and oil change. They were prompt, offered me a better coupon than I had. Suggested few maintenance items, weren't pushy at all. I will be bringing my other cars here, without any hesitation. Thank you

P:S- I don't write a lot of reviews and for some reason Yelp does not display the ones I do, even when they are fully positive.. Lets see if this one is displayed :-) My husband took our van to the shop for oil change last week and he, as course of conversation, asked if they could take a look at a problem with our van's automatic doors. The passenger doors were not opening when the engine was on. They offered to check but mentioned that they may not be able to fix anything big. Apparently when they ran some analysis and reset something, the problem went away. The Honda dealer was asking for an exorbitant price even to take a look at the problem but Quality Tune-up did not even charge us since we were regulars there and it was a minor fix. Talk about customer service- They rock..I would highly recommend them.

my go to place for synthetic oil changes. ask for their website discount. got a transmission fluid flush on sale for $120. very good prices. i have a good idea of what needs to be maintained and replaced on my car. they didnt give me any bullshit recommendations on what to replace. i normally don't trust mechanics at gas stations but these guys seem honest.

I have been coming here for years! They are honest and good workers! They won't try to rip you off or over charge you! Best mechanic I've had in 10 years!

I just saw there was a recent review, that wasn't favorable, about the Quality Tune Up on Bascom Avenue and I felt compelled to share some additional thoughts to my review back in 2013. The owner of this business (Sukhi), is absolutely a gem. I've been coming to him for many years, so to hear someone had an unfavorable experience is beyond me. The only thing I can say, is that sometimes there are things that happen during a business day, which can take a business off their timeline, from time to time. What's important is how a company handles the issue, when it arises, that makes a company go from good to great, in my opinion. Sukhi ALWAYS goes the extra mile, if something arises. If you are looking for an HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY, FAIR PRICED, HARD WORKING shop, Sukhi is your man. Go to him directly. I just can't tell you how great he is. Sukhi is not only my car maintenance repair person, Sukhi has become my friend and someone I can always count on. It's because of his honesty and willingness to go the extra mile (every time I come in) that makes me happy to refer him to you. He's a hand shake type of guy you can count on, which I love. They've always done a great job and when I drop in, (which is usually what I do) they quickly handle my needs, even if its a busy holiday weekend. I really appreciate his service and it's definitely NOT because I'm hot! (I'm pretty sure) ; )` Thank you for always taking care of me. I appreciate your honesty and wiliness to go the extra mile. :) That's what makes me come back. As a side note... I've never really checked priced but I feel what they charge is fair. What's most important is his honesty and service. It really makes a difference. I'm just a shamed I don't know his name. (Going to fix that :) ) Wait!!! He just called me!!! I have my car down for a quick oil change and forget to mention something. So I called and there was no answer, because he was on the phone with another client. Once he finished his call, he called me right back!!! LOVE THAT!!! So the answer to the my question... the tall, thin, fellas name is SUKHI !!!!!! Thank you SUKHI for the outstanding service. This is my go to repair shop! They are honest, do excellent work and are very customer service oriented. I can't recommend them enough. If you want a great place to have repairs and/or maintenance, this is the place to go!

If you want a great place to have repairs and/or maintenance, this is the place to go! My check engine light came on, but I wasn't sure who I could trust. I read the Yelp reviews and brought my 2002 Honda in to be checked. Ron ran a diagnostic and the engine is good, so is the transmission, which was a huge relief 'cause I thought the tranny was taking a nose dive. They completed the tune up in the amount of time they said it would be done and they did a fantastic job for a reasonable price. Plus they were all really nice, lots of good vibes and made me feel welcome. So, I'll definitely be back for all my automotive maintenance and I'll be telling my friends and family to take their vehicles here too!

I used to come here for any car needs i had before I got a new car that has warranty and service package on it. They are reasonably priced and very honest. I had a check engine light on once and I already knew what it was. When i brought it in, i dropped it off (they are always so flexible) and they called me and said that the diagnostics would be a certain cost on top of the repair. I told them that I already knew what the issue was so they said they will run the diagnostics, if i was right they won't charge me but if it was something else they would. I think that was pretty fair. Ive never felt like they were trying to scam me or scare me into stuff i don't need. i know enough about cars so that if they did i would know. I recommend them for general oil changes and any repair you need- they are good guys. Plus you can drop your car off then head to happy hour or lunch in santana row while you wait.

I'm an extreme procrastinator so I was really happy to find out this place was open on a Sunday. I called in 2 hours prior to dropping by and spoke to Joanne who was really nice, helpful, and agreed to squeeze me in for a smog check certification. Everything was quick and easy- 25min later I was set and ready to go. Great Service!
