I just saw there was a recent review, that wasn't favorable, about the Quality Tune Up on Bascom Avenue and I felt compelled to share some additional thoughts to my review back in 2013. The owner of this business (Sukhi), is absolutely a gem. I've been coming to him for many years, so to hear someone had an unfavorable experience is beyond me. The only thing I can say, is that sometimes there are things that happen during a business day, which can take a business off their timeline, from time to time. What's important is how a company handles the issue, when it arises, that makes a company go from good to great, in my opinion. Sukhi ALWAYS goes the extra mile, if something arises. If you are looking for an HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY, FAIR PRICED, HARD WORKING shop, Sukhi is your man. Go to him directly. I just can't tell you how great he is. Sukhi is not only my car maintenance repair person, Sukhi has become my friend and someone I can always count on. It's because of his honesty and willingness to go the extra mile (every time I come in) that makes me happy to refer him to you. He's a hand shake type of guy you can count on, which I love. I absolutely trust him. P.S. Sukhi, thank you for yesterday. You always make me feel special, everyone time I come in. You're the BEST and I appreciate all that you do for me! I absolutely love these guys. I forget the fellas name, (tall, thin, man) but I just think he's wonderful. I've been coming to him for years. They've always done a great job and when I drop in, (which is usually what I do) they quickly handle my needs, even if its a busy holiday weekend. I really appreciate his service and it's definitely NOT because I'm hot! (I'm pretty sure) ; )` Thank you for always taking care of me. I appreciate your honesty and wiliness to go the extra mile. :) That's what makes me come back. As a side note... I've never really checked priced but I feel what they charge is fair. What's most important is his honesty and service. It really makes a difference. I'm just a shamed I don't know his name. (Going to fix that :) ) Wait!!! He just called me!!! I have my car down for a quick oil change and forget to mention something. So I called and there was no answer, because he was on the phone with another client. Once he finished his call, he called me right back!!! LOVE THAT!!! So the answer to the my question... the tall, thin, fellas name is SUKHI !!!!!! Thank you SUKHI for the outstanding service. This is my go to repair shop! They are honest, do excellent work and are very customer service oriented. I can't recommend them enough. If you want a great place to have repairs and/or maintenance, this is the place to go!

If you want a great place to have repairs and/or maintenance, this is the place to go! My check engine light came on, but I wasn't sure who I could trust. I read the Yelp reviews and brought my 2002 Honda in to be checked. Ron ran a diagnostic and the engine is good, so is the transmission, which was a huge relief 'cause I thought the tranny was taking a nose dive. They completed the tune up in the amount of time they said it would be done and they did a fantastic job for a reasonable price. Plus they were all really nice, lots of good vibes and made me feel welcome. So, I'll definitely be back for all my automotive maintenance and I'll be telling my friends and family to take their vehicles here too!

I used to come here for any car needs i had before I got a new car that has warranty and service package on it. They are reasonably priced and very honest. I had a check engine light on once and I already knew what it was. When i brought it in, i dropped it off (they are always so flexible) and they called me and said that the diagnostics would be a certain cost on top of the repair. I told them that I already knew what the issue was so they said they will run the diagnostics, if i was right they won't charge me but if it was something else they would. I think that was pretty fair. Ive never felt like they were trying to scam me or scare me into stuff i don't need. i know enough about cars so that if they did i would know. I recommend them for general oil changes and any repair you need- they are good guys. Plus you can drop your car off then head to happy hour or lunch in santana row while you wait.

I'm an extreme procrastinator so I was really happy to find out this place was open on a Sunday. I called in 2 hours prior to dropping by and spoke to Joanne who was really nice, helpful, and agreed to squeeze me in for a smog check certification. Everything was quick and easy- 25min later I was set and ready to go. Great Service!

Victor is SUCH a great guy. Everyone here works hard and gets the customer out asap! I'm never ever going elsewhere. They took care of my brakes that were literally falling off.

Awesome customer service, very friendly. I recently moved to the East Bay and did not know of any places to take my car to get an oil change. I went on Yelp and this was one of the first places that showed up close to my house with great reviews so I decided to bring my car here. No doubt the second I walked in friendly greetings and Victor answered all questions and explained everything in details. Highly recommend bringing your car here!

This is a review for my girlfriends fiat 500 that she always puts off on getting done and I have to constantly nag her to get her oil and filter changed for about 5 months. Well, anyway the service here is really great and they even took care of her car when she called like an hour before they closed! Cool people and cool service thanks!

I went in to Quality Tune-Up in Fremont for a smog check at the last minute, and Victor and the crew took good care of me! Awesome and honest service even at the last minute, which isn't easy to find. I plan on going back with my second car to them and would recommend them to everyone!

Called and TJ picked up the phone indicating it will take 30 mins. When I arrived, I checked in, gave my keys, told him I needed to be out in 30 mins, and I was sure out 25 Mins! Highly recommended!
