I've been going here since I moved to the area about 3 years ago and they've helped me out with various fixes and tuneups over time. Mostly synthetic oil changes but they've helped me out tremendously over the years on various issues and built up my trust as a loyal customer. Customer service energy at the front has varied over time but the good has outweighed the bad ones and sometimes have to understand the staff may be very stressed or having a rough day like a normal human and it's not like most of them have had a regular office job either. I've had them replace lightbulbs for incredibly affordable prices (under $50) when I've been ripped off before for over $300. I also had a really stressful and unknown issue with my car last year (consuming Hybrid system stuff) and they had to do a lot of thorough analysis of the parts/issue which did take several hours and I think I even had to leave my car there overnight or so to diagnose. I felt bad the staff spent a long time digging into it and I was already struggling financially and had to pay around $700 for new rear brakes just a few months before that, and was extremely stressed when finding out the details of the repair which may have costed $5-7k or so and the decision to move forward with it or get a new car. They gave me time to think about it and ultimately it was still under my dads name so I let him decide, but what I was super thankful that they were able to waive the diagnostic fee charges. It was a kind gesture and one I won't forget and has added to my trust to this place. I haven't had to go back for a long time until recently and I recalled at the prior oil change they gave me a heads up the next oil change I should also get the front brakes replaced (and was dreading another financial burden) and I brought it up, but I was thankful they were able to check again and said I could wait longer to replace them. I'm so grateful they can be honest with me and I never felt shady vibes. It is challenging for me to compare prices for services (quoted for synthetic oil change + new front brakes around $750) so I don't know if I could be paying less elsewhere. But knowing that this place has done me well over time keeps me going back and mentally at peace. When I had the other major issue I initially did try bringing it to a closer auto shop but it was a sketchy area by north SJ and was annoying staff weren't there at the hours listed to be open and was a waste of time. There are many shops around so I usually try to eat at a restaurant and bring any tech stuff with me to use wifi elsewhere and kill time instead of wasting $ ubering back home. Probably my only wish is if they could have appointments available and have the parking lot area maybe regulated a bit better (sometimes food trucks or other cars blocking parts of the driveways in the way) There's also usually always some coupons online also. Overall, I'm shocked to see some of the negative comments here but they've been great to me so far and especially as a woman, it's important to feel safe and not scammed by auto repair places. I haven't felt the need to research or try other auto shops so thanks for all the help!
